Currently having 18 years experience in hairdressing, starting from a young aspiring junior to now owning my dream salon. Working in an environment I love, I’m truly grateful to be where I am now.

 
Having studied in London for many years gaining huge experience in colour, I can now offer a variety of different brands in colours to suit each individual client.

I take great pleasure in transforming my clients, not only changing their hair but changing how they feel as they leave the salon, this is the biggest reward. 

I specialise in blow dries, seamless balayage, personalised colour and blonding. I feel my client reviews showcase this. Keeping up with on trend colours and continually educating myself gives me more drive to achieve the very best results.

With 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, my true passion lies in nails. I thrive on bringing clients’ visions to life, whether it’s through vibrant colors or intricate nail art.

I love creating personalised, stunning nail designs that make people feel their best, and I’m always excited to explore new trends and creative techniques.

I also love doing makeup and feel particularly privileged when asked to be part of someone’s special day, especially their wedding.

Cydney began her career in London, honing her skills and staying abreast of the latest trends. She specializes in creating short on trend cut and styling, brunettes and warm blonde shades.

After relocating to the local area, Cydney brings her London expertise to No53 salon, offering high-quality hairdressing services to our community.

Meet Katie, a talented hairstylist with a passion for creating stunning looks.

Katie began her hairdressing journey in London, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of hair care. She has been delighting clients at No53 salon for 5 years.

Specializing in blonding, extensions and blow-dries, Katie believes in transforming not just hair, but also boosting client confidence."

With over 15 years of experience, Rachel offers a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including injectables, anti-aging solutions, skin rejuvenation, and microblading.

Whether you're seeking a subtle enhancement or a complete transformation, Rachel is dedicated to helping you achieve your desired look and feel confident in your own skin.

Sharna is a highly experienced hairstylist with 9 years of expertise in colouring hair, including stunning brondes—a blend of blonde and brown colours for those who appreciate the best of both worlds. She is particularly renowned for her ability to create beautiful bobs that perfectly complement each client's face shape and personal style.

Sharna takes great pride in achieving results that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Her passion for enhancing each client's appearance, regardless of the style or challenge, truly shines through in every interaction.

Meet Alicia, who started her hair journey at 17, attending a London academy and learning locally.

She's always loved creating styles with her own hair and watching her family, who have also been hairdressers. She just knew hair was her calling.

Alicia joined No53 for the supportive vibes and love for high-quality hair, the perfect place to grow and do what we LOVE.

Her favourite things to create?

Flicky blowdrys, dreamy curls, all colours, and long hair transformations.

Jess is a true hair pro with nearly two decades of experience under her belt!

She began her journey in 2006, training straight out of school with Headmasters Academy. After qualifying, she found her groove at their Epsom salon, where her love for all things hair really took off — from creative hair-ups and competitions to mentoring new talent.

After some time away from salon life (but still working her magic at home), Jess returned to the floor at Headmasters Cobham. Over the past year, she’s taken a range of amazing courses, fine-tuning her colour game and perfecting her cutting techniques.

Now, she’s joined the No53 family — drawn to the more personal vibe and the chance to give each client a truly bespoke, one-to-one experience. If you’ve sat in Jess’s chair, you’ll know just how thoughtful and detailed her consultations are.

Jess’s goal? To make you feel confident, heard, and totally in love with your hair.

Jade has over 16 years of experience and has worked in a variety of salons. She's trained in a wide range of beauty and skin services, including advanced facials, microneedling, laser treatments, and more.

Inspired by her own skin journey, Jade specialises in skincare and is passionate about helping clients achieve real results and feel confident in their skin. She loves meeting new people and building genuine relationships and connections with every client.

Meet Our Beauty Apprentice – Lilley!

We’re so excited to officially introduce Lilley, our incredibly talented beauty apprentice who has been training with us since December 2024. From day one, Lilley has shown a natural flair and passion for all things beauty, and it truly shines through in her work!

Make-Up

Lilley is already building a strong following and receiving fantastic feedback from clients, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come.

We can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next, and we know she has an amazing future ahead in the beauty industry.

Meet Bev - Our second head of house.
Bev started hairdressing at just 17
Life slowed down while she raised her two children.
You may have recognised Bev from the local coffee shop, but her passion for salon life has always been there.
Now she’s back in a salon, and at No.53, right where she feels happiest.

Emma began her career at Vidal Sassoon in Mayfair, eventually becoming the head receptionist for the London schools. Although she enjoyed her work, she made the decision to become a full-time mother to her children. Once they were old enough, she felt the urge to return to work. Freyja was Emmas stylist at a previous salon, and followed her to her new salon, No53 salon, where she offered Emma a receptionist role. Emma has been working with Freyja and her team for 4 years and has enjoyed every moment.  Loving the lively atmosphere of the salon and, most importantly, working with the girls. Emma looks forward to giving you a warm welcome.
